Payment in full is required to secure your space on the course, hotel accomodation and catering. You will be asked to provide dietary requirements and food allergy information after you book. Please provide any dietary requirements no later that 48hrs before the course start date. A 20% admin fee will be charged if cancelling attendance with under 4 weeks notice. Cancellations with over 4 weeks notice will be subject to a 10% admin fee. If the organiser cancels the course you will get a full refund, but the organisers are not responsible for any of your expenses incurred. Should there be any change to the course schedule delegates already booked will have first priority on new dates. We do run a waitlist. So if the course you would like to attend is full add yourself to the list and if a space becomes available we will offer it to those on the waitlist. How do I get to Lodge Training?

If coming by road we have ample on site parking and are easily accessible via the A40. We're well signposted and easy to find as you drive into Abergavenny from the South. We're a short distance from the Abergavenny train station which has excellent transport links with Cardiff, London, Manchester and more. Bristol and Cardiff airports are a short drive away and an airport shuttle can be arranged.

Overview

8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day
In this two-day composite hands-on course, you will be immediately led into a unique hands-on 3D
dental anatomy exercise to encourage your creative spirit. Short, impactful mini-lectures will be
coupled with a variety of hands-on exercises.

Two days of workshops
Dr. Thomas will demonstrate step-by-step simple and complex Class IVs, how to create direct resin
veneers with different effects, and the easy process for mastering finishing and polishing. ALL of
his secrets and tips will be revealed so you can confidently take every skill back into your practice
and to your patients. You will be able to practice all the exercises live with Dr. Thomas and gain
invaluable feedback as you work.

At the end of the day 1 course we’ll travel the short distance to The Angel hotel, check in, have some down time before private dining and networking evening event in the Cellar bar.

Accommodation

This all inclusive course features excellent accommodation from our partners at The Angel Hotel. Located just a few minutes from Lodge Training, The Angel hotel is one of only five hotels in Wales included in The Sunday Times 100 Best British Hotels 2021.

The Angel has been awarded a 4 Silver Star grading from The AA and has also been named AA Hotel of The Year, Wales 2016/17. The hotel enjoys a central Abergavenny location next to the Castle and widely celebrated Angel Bakery and is only a short walk or drive from the Training Academy.

Catering

As part of your course booking enjoy fresh pastries in the morning provided by the infamous Angel Bakery. Lunch Bento Boxes supplied by The Angel Hotel. Drinks and Canepé’s before a four course meal in a private dining area at the Angel Hotel where delegates will be joined by guest mentors and other industry professionals. Breakfast at the hotel. Along with a wide range of Tea, Coffee, soft drinks and snacks available throughout both days and a fully stocked bar to toast the end of the course.

Surrounding Area

Abergavenny is often referred to as the gateway to wales. The town has gained international recognition as the home to The Abergavenny Food Festival, Michelin Star restaurant The Walnut Tree, Greenman music festival and is situated at the foot of the Sugar Loaf Mountain. The Brecon Beacons National Park is just outside the town, views of the blorenge, skirrid, sugarloaf and deri can be enjoyed from most spots in town. For those looking to visit Pen Y Fan, Tal-y-bont reservoir or the famous book town Hay-on-wye these are all within an hours reach.

The Lodge Training is located in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.
Our purpose built training facility is next door to the Lodge Dental General Practice.

If travelling by car we have ample parking on site, and additional parking is available at your overnight accommodation. We’re a short seven minute walk from Abergavenny Train Station.
